Are the classes open to everyone?Yes, the classes are open to everyone and anyone. The levels mentioned are there to inform you of what to expect, but you are welcome to try a class of a higher level. We all love a good challenge right?

Do I have to have had some dance experience to take a class?Not at all! Dancers of all levels are welcome. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, these classes are great for you.

What happens after I've booked my class?After you have booked your class, proceed to make your payment - if you haven't yet. Once your payment is received, you will get an emailed receipt with the class details within 24 hours.

How can I prepare for the class?1. Be punctual. 2. Come with an open mind, ready to learn. 3. Bring some water with you. 4. Be punctual.

Do you offer any scholarships/sponsorships/patronage for the classes?Yes! We have generous patrons who give towards this cause. Follow us on Instagram (@thekenakonadancecenter) to get notified when we have these sponsored spots available.

How can I become a patron?You can become a patron by simply making a financial donation to The Kena Kona Dance Center. A single class is $8/ 800 kes however, any amount will be appreciated. Paypal: thekenakona@gmail.com Mpesa: Paybill: 222111 Account Number: 5968081

What happens if I can’t attend a class/change my mind about taking a class that I had signed up for?You’ll have 3 options to choose from: 1) You can push your payment to the next class. This payment will only be valid for the original class and the next upcoming 2 classes. 2) You can consider your payment as patronage to TKKDC. 3) You can request a refund by emailing us at thekenakona@gmail.com. Refunds will only be issued *before* the class originally paid for takes place.

Will the classes be filmed?Yes, there will be pictures and videos taken during the classes for advertising purposes. If you would not like to appear in the footage please let us know before the class begins.
